MLM Prospecting Attraction Marketing?s Missing Component
Okay so you already know Attraction Marketing is the best way to see the highest return on your MLM prospecting efforts. But the question remains, how do you go about it? And more specifically how can a “regular guy” go from struggling MLM’er to seeing internet marketing success?
Attraction Marketing as it applies to MLM prospecting entails positioning yourself so prospects come to you effectively attracting them instead of hunting them down. You do this by establishing yourself as a credible source of information. You become a trusted advisor offering a service to your target market.
A paradigm shift must occur in which you move from “salesperson” with a pitch to “consultant” with the knowledge and expertise to truly assist your prospects achieve their goals.
In concept it is simple enough but how do you actually go about accomplishing this goal? Well…you will be told the “quick and easy” way is to set up a marketing pipeline (sales funnel) consisting of a lead capture page that offers some kind of incentive. Usually this comes in the form of a free report or training seminar of some type.
This lead capture page is designed to require the prospect to enter their contact information in exchange for the incentive you are providing. Once you have the lead you follow up via e-mail, direct mail or phone to attempt to “convert this prospect” into a down-line.
Therefore your next step is to set up a one page website that “pitches your opportunity” and directs them to your pre-packaged MLM opportunity website. Sounds genius right?
But how do you get visitors to your lead capture page in the first place? Most advise using Pay Per Click campaigns. Unfortunately after all of this work and the frustration of learning all of this stuff…you are basically back to square one. You need to spend more money.
What the “Guru’s” are often failing to let you know is that PPC campaigns are expensive…real expensive. Costs per click can run anywhere from fifty cents to fifteen dollars for highly competitive keywords.
Not only that but once you get a click that doesn’t mean you will get a lead. In fact there are spam bot programs out there clicking away on these ads just to cost you money. Many will click your ad just to decide not to enter their contact information after all.
And once you finally do have a lead great…just send them your opportunity pitch right? Definitely not! Driving hundreds and even thousands of visitors to a pitch page will never get you out of the red. You simply won’t see a return on your investment this way.
All this work and not one distributor. So much for attraction marketing. Well…not exactly.
There is a way of literally attracting thousands of prospects to you for a much smaller investment. In fact you can actually having them contact YOU for more information regarding your opportunity.
Not only that but you will have prequalified targeted individuals looking to work with you! In fact…this method creates free leads, free prospects and will generate money for you. I know…I know…sounds like just another gimmick.
What I am talking about is good old fashioned online business. To build a successful MLM business online you must commit to building your business the right way. As a small business owner you absolutely must develop a way to capitalize on the way the internet works.
Get out of the advertiser mindset and into the business owner one. When you are looking for anything online what do you use? Search Engines are in the business of delivering quality content to their users.
Do you want to spend money to be an ad in the corner of a search result or do you want to be in the search results for free? As a search engine user yourself do you use them to get ads or do you use them to find relevant websites that deliver answers, entertainment, solutions etc…
Building a website that targets your prospect, delivers quality information and offers solutions positions you so your prospects find you. Build a quality site based on strong content and the search engines will deliver free targeted traffic to you.
Yes…this will take time and effort but it will take less time, money & effort than continuing down the quick and easy path to failure.
Once you actually have a business of your own you will finally be in a position to actually capitalize on all those nifty insider marketing secrets everyone is so willingly feeding us.
